Default LF Cheap Motherboard and Processor

I believe my motherboard is failing me and my SATA connectors aren't working properly as it doesn't find either of my harddrives plugged in when I boot up. Not really picky on Brand just needs to be able to run DDR2 and powerful enough to play MKV's as the computer is mostly used as a media server. I am not looking to break the bank so let me know if anyone has any old dusty MOBO's sitting around they would like to get rid of

What is your current CPU? I have a spare ASUS Socket 775 motherboard and a Gigabyte one as well IIRC.

I have a mobo and a AMD 3000+.

It is basically a full system, actually.

Wouldn't want much for it, but I do live in Hanna.

I believe the ASUS one is mATX. I will go dig it out of the box to see what it is.
