I really don't know how that guy was worth so much when he was bought. Doesn't run, can't pass, can't dribble past anyone, and has a brain that turns to mush when he gets the ball.

I know hes lazy, but its not even just him, no one can get close, not him, not Defoe or VdV or Modric or anyone, I think the only person I've seen actually try and get close was Dawson from a corner and even he couldnt get a touch on it.

I hate to criticize substitutions before they've had a chance, but what the hell is Harry doing?
Pavlyuchenko for Lennon? You dont need more width man, you need someone in the box who can freaking do something!
Granted, removing Pav is an addition all by itself, at least now you're playing with 11 men.

You've always got to be careful when you make purchases based on International competition performances, when he played for Russia he was a huge standout and so his club used that to leverage his price.
They're probably still toasting that sale.

Just flicked over to ESPN for a second - nice to see Blackpool are ahead. Hope it stays that way, Holloway has been entertainment this year.

6 minutes added time is actually right, the Bale saga was almost 5 minutes by itself.
This has been a weird and wacky game, very entertaining though. A draw would be a fair result though.

Pav has tons of talent, he has absolutely zero work ethic
I think he needs to be coddled, and 'arry won't do that, and shouldn't have too

Happy St Totteringham's Day!
This is the day Arsenal fans around the world collect their winnings from their hapless Spurs supporting mates who think, 'this is the year the Spuds finish above Arsenal'.
A one pound bet in 1995/6 on who'd finish above reinvested at double or quits would have won £65,536 today!

came later this year than St ArsenLOLs day
for when Spurs made it further in the Champions League, it can also be used as the date for when Arsenal set a record for not recording a shot on goal in a Champions league match

I prefer the way Arsene looks at that day, it showed the squad's amazing mental strength. We didn't get a shot off yet we still managed to get on the scoresheet. The lads willed the ball into the net, that takes some serious mental strength.
Anyway, I hoped you enjoyed St ArsenLOLs day. It's like a leap year. How many years will it be before you get to celebrate it again?

Combined winnings = £1.
I reckon that makes it £65,536 to £1. After what I can only describe as the worst season I've endured since the early 90s.

I'm pretty sure a co-ed over 40 rec league team could score on a corner against Arsenal. Sad.
Heh, I thought they'd play well today with no pressure. Boy, was I wrong...

Clearly you've forgotten about Wigan away last season, I don't blame you though!

Bye bye Chelsea. That defender with the afro is terrible.
Locke: teams always buy stupid players after good international tournaments. The exceptions are Arsenal and ManU who try to develop from the youth system or buy players based on club career. I remember Liverpool buying El Hadji Diouf after Senegal's run in 2002 and Milan Baros after the Czech Rep.'s run in 2004. How good did those signings do you?

Man U have made just as many terrible buys as any club in the world
Arsenal only buy players from france, and most of them turn out to be not very good

Every club makes crap signings. Hell, I think United paid the most for the worst player this season, if they hadnt snatched Hernandez to even it out.
How is 7M quid wonderboy Bebe doing?

Man U have had the capacity in the past to make mistakes in the transfer market. Having become saddled with debt, that capacity has been greatly reduced hence they have upped their game and are far more effective in the market.
Your first point about Arsenal is wrong, and your second point would carry more weight if you werent always looking up at the team.
