Poposil is in the semifinals in Leon, Mexico. Big points!

-----

Verdasco beats Anderson in 3 sets... Roanic and Simon are currently in a 3rd set!

Wasn't sure what was happening with Raonic today after his match got stopped yesterday. Surprised he has to play twice today when Verdasco did not.

Was excited to watch it yesterday and I ended up FFWDing through 2 or 3 hours of the Canucks panel after the rain delay.

Great for Milos anyway, big win - 90 more points should take him up to #24 or so regardless of todays outcome. Sets him up nicely for the biggies in Madrid and Rome.

Thanks for the updates on the other Canadians too, good to see everyone having such a great week.

It would be sooo good to see Raonic beat Verdasco on clay.

Verdasco has to play twice today too. He played 2 sets earlier as well.

I hear it's pissing down rain again in Portugal with the Del Potro semifinal in the 2nd set.

-----

The Madrid 1000 draw is out, it's a terrible draw for Raonic.

He gets Feliciano Lopez in the first round and if he passes that.. it's Roger Federer!

I just saw on a Canadian Press Sportsbreak that Raonic withdrew from this match with Verdasco in the second set. I'm not sure what happened.

Hopefully not an injury and just illness or tiredness from playing twice.

As Matty81 said, Raonic receives 20,700 EUROS, 90 ATP points and is now #24 in the World.

Sounds like his back was bothering him, according to Tennis Canada.

Yes, probably is .. 3 setters + rain delays + playing twice in one day can't be good for the back. Good to rest up and get ready for Lopez on Monday or Tuesday.

Both Dancevic and Pospisil (i finally got his name right) lost their semifinals

33 points for both which makes a for a good week. Pospisil will get close to the top 250 now.

It's early but watching a bit so far, the Madrid court looks really fast. Good for Milos.

Also looking forward to a possible Del Potro-Nadal 3rd round match. fast court favours delpo
