I'm not as shocked by this. All the whole "he's not here for you" crap aside. Ignatieff came back where with a massive sense of entitlement and came across as someone who was assured a victory. He was awful on the campaign trail, and starting off the very first day by saying he wasn't going to take part in a coalition (whether or not it's bad or good) and then telling Mansbridge two weeks later that he would was ######ed.

This is why the Conservatives, even with their majority, can't just go crazy and do what ever they want. 106 NDP seats makes a strong opposition and will keep Harper in check. Or else the people will throw the CPC out.

There will be constitutional reform. Senate reform is something both CPC and NDP agree on.

Did anyone else's FB just explode with uneducated young women who think we are going to be vaulted back to the 1950s with the CPC in power?

It's like they think Harper is going to put them all in internment camps and take away their right to vote.

Does anyone really think Harper is going to take away women's rights? Especially the right to choose? Would it not instantly get challenged by the SC and make the CPC lose all of their support everywhere but rural AB?
