Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I think this is a great thread! I actually attended all the BeatRoute Shakeout shows last weekend and they were terrific! I am still in recovery mode from rocking out and partying. This city has a great music community and it's only getting better!

Anyways, I am in a local band, we are called Scott Perrin & The Clams. We're a comedy rock band- I've written a bunch of songs about funny and embarrassing things that have happened to me in my life. We're pretty new, since I just moved back to Calgary last year.

We're playing at Vern's on Saturday June 4 at 9:30 pm. If you're free, you should come find out if we're actually funny...or good. Plus, we could have beers and talk hockey! Hope to see some of you there!

I play in Night Committee. We're on first, seven to seven thirty. Sam Savage is really awesome and worth seeing so stick around for her. Those CJSW olyimpic plaza shows are pretty fun - I'd done it a few times in the past and it's really great just hanging out there watching music.
