Quick is really letting us down, look for Nittymaki to get the nod in the next game!

well not surprised this one is tied up. Our PP came through today with both goals, but 5 on 5 we were not strong, again allowing over 40 shots to Boston. This was Giguere's series debut and he did not do as well as Rask did in game 1.

Sharks get brutally outshot and drop game 2 in overtime.

Our ice-time problem was NOT remedied at all this game, as two of our defencemen play almost 30 minutes.

Oil come back from down 3-0 to win 5-4 and take a 2-0 series lead. Pahlsson has been excellent this series.

Big win for the Kings to split on the road and head home for a couple. The Kings will have to be even better as the first two games each ended 4-3.

Another solid game from the Bruins. Thankfully we were able to put some in the net on our 43 shots. The third line carried the mail (all 3 stars) which is a good sign, our 2nd and 1st lines haven't shown up yet and I don't think they will be contained too much longer.

3 Stars
1 - Marty Reasoner (BOS)
2 - Brian Gionta (BOS)
3 - Ian Laperriere (BOS)

Big game for the 2nd line and Cullen with 2 goals. Lundy was strong with 30 saves to hold the Thrashers at bay. It is far from over and expect the Trashers to dig in deep as they do not want to go down by 3 games.

Big win to get back into this series. I think the line juggling I did helped.... at least I hope.
