Looks like the outage will last well into next week and possibly longer. This was posted by Sony this afternoon.

Wanted to give some guys a view from the other side of the fence.
Being someone who also plays on Xbox you would not believe the rush of new teams this past week.
7BK has a team as well as about 20-30 of the other elite teams that existed on ps3 previously. It has made the Q system instant and the competition is very strong as it has gone from about 20 elite teams to about 50 in a matter of a week.
I think EASHL for PS3 is going to be a hurting unit when PSN does come back up because as anyone who has played NHL on Xbox knows the game is considerably easier especially when it comes to puck control, has 0 lag, tones of teams, and mic's that work.
Finally!!! So who is up for some games today? Going to busy I would think.
