SABRES 4th LINE KEY TO VICTORY IN GAME 1
Sabres GM Looooob was pleased to return from 2 days buried in snow to find his team has taken game 1 in their series with long time rivals the Boston Bruins. The Bruins owned the Sabres in their last 3 matchups and soundly outshot the team in game one but it was the 4th liners leading the way for Buffalo. Mike Comrie was acquired at the trade deadline specifically to enhance the team's 4th line and he did that yesterday with a goal, and linemate Josh Bailey picked up a goal and an assist. Both players received game star nods, as did goalie Tuuka Rask who was badly beaten by the Bruins just last week. Jordan Leopold was a welcome returneed from injury , leading all players with a plus 3. the Sabres know this won't be easy but are glad to have reclaimed home ice advantage.
