It's actually a pretty decent album too.

Ya, Foo Fighters are all about the live performance. Not that their recordings aren't good, but playing live is where they separate themselves from a lot of other bands.

Their drummer bananas. I love watching him play.

I've been dying to go to another Foo Fighters concert. Wasting Light is pretty good, but definitely not my favorite album from the group.

I saw/heard them play most of these about a month ago. Smallish venue (9000 ppl), considering the band. It was awesome. I have no purpose for posting this other than inflicting jealousy.

They're playing Missoula, MT (with Motorhead) at the end of May, prior to Sasquatch (which they're also playing): http://www.foofighters.com/ca/event/...26/missoula-mt

I saw the Foo Fighters outdoors at Pimlico in Baltimore in 2008. To this day, the best concert I've ever been to. Thanks for posting.

Possible Canadian tour late summer. Someone mentioned to me that Foo Fighters are to headline the Sonic Boom festival in Edmonton. That would be awesome! Heard the same about Pearl Jam w/Mudhoney in the fall.

Also, the Foo Fighters movie Back and Forth is awesome. Dave is finally willing to open up about the end of Nirvana. For a huge fan his take on it is fascinating. Highly recommend.
