How it works, or at least it use to, is that you would have to tell them the serial number for the Kelowna property and they deactivate the receivers in Calgary and allow the Kelowna one to be running while you are there, and vise-versa. So they allow it but they don't want both addresses to have active receivers at the same time.
The other option is to just install the dish/receiver in Kelowna and just activate it as it was in Calgary. They do run checks through their system to see where a certain signal is going but it would be ####y luck if they caught you and if they did you could play dumb. If I'm being honest I have done this for about 6 years with a buddy across the city, so chances are slim fo them to catch on.
Internet I have no idea.
