If Winnipeg does get an NHL team in the future, there will be players that will play there for the sheer desire to play in the league. However, I do know that there are some players within the Coyotes organization that have settled there families and are in the process or have just built new homes, etc, whom would be less than thrilled with a move to the Peg, as they have really chosen to reside in the Phoenix region due to the climate and lifestyle.

The chicks in Winnipeg aren't just cute, but most of them are actually awesome and down to earth too. Definitely one of the most underrated things about the city.

You also can't deny the drive sucks.

If downtown wasn't an option for the Coyotes, they should have spent some of their own money and built an arena in Scottsdale. There are loads of rich people in Scottsdale. There aren't in Glendale. There are loads of vacationing or retired Canadians in Scottsdale. There aren't in Glendale.

The Goldwater Institute intends to bring some of its own ideas to the table today during a meeting with Glendale city officials and the Hulsizer camp.
“At our meeting, we plan to offer suggestions on different approaches or modifications that could bring the agreement (or a different agreement) toward compliance with the Gift Clause,” said Goldwater attorney Clint Bolick.

The most interesting bit comes right at the end (final minute) of part 6 when Mayor Scruggs says "we're 3 or 4 days away from the end" then when pressed on the matter quickly backtracks.

It was pretty pathetic listening to these idiots.. it's clear they have nothing to lose here and any and all facetime serves them well.
