Just picked up the 64 gig Ipad 2 this afternoon. I am impressed! I installed Air Video and Filebrowser, and now I can basically stream all my videos, mp3s, and manga scans to it. This thing is frickin' sweet!
On impulse I even got suckered into buying that magnetic cover. Man, that thing's expensive. I haven't opened it yet. I'm thinking of returning it and just getting a crappier carrying case.

I'm actually thinking of performing surgery to add some magnets to a more tangible case I have right now. No idea if I'll just manage to wreck it. The magnet to flick it on by itself is nice.

I wanted the white, but Best Buy only had the black left, so I settled for that. I didn't want to wait any longer. :-)

Pfft. And lose the ability to stick it to your fridge door? You're insane.
I did this to a friend at work today who brought in his new iPad. I opened it up, placed it against my metal cabinet and asked "what would you think if I just let it drop?" and then let go. You could almost see him nearly sh** a kitten. When it didn't drop he was suddenly very excited to use it in the kitchen.
I've been trying to get my mother an iPad and have been hammering the 'reserve an iPad' link for the past 5 days at 9:00. I've noticed that the 'reserve at your apple store' link has been taken away from the site but have been using the link previously posted.
i tried for a couple of days to obtain one via the reservation thru the apple store; however, i just gave up and ordered it online.......i went with the 64 GB with Wi-Fi only in black......
i am hoping that the otter box case soon becomes available as it is the only one that looks solid
It looks like 3G service for an iPad can be tacked onto your iPhone bill for $10 a month. Is this what most people are doing with their 3G iPads?
Nay! I actually opted out of the 3G version because if you've got an iPhone with Personal Hotspot enabled it acts just like 3G. Used it today and it was awesome, worked like a charm.
