note - i am going to give the accused the benefit of a doubt; however, that being said, I always wonder how the folks who commit these crimes against kids can manage to isolate the child from thier parents long enough to manouver the victim into a position where they can be victimized - i guess i am asking were are the parents of thse kids when this is happening?

This is true. Coaches are often under the radar for this kind of thing, and kids say all kinds of things unknowing of the consequences just because they dont like someone.

You know how you can tell if someone is messed up in the head?

They have asymmetrical eyes.

Look at this woman's left eye. It's all wonky and slanted. Everyone will have minor asymmetries, but the crazier the person, the more pronounced the difference will be.

/useless observation

I actually agree. I think it's pretty easy to tell if someone is messed in the head. Obviously not a scientific observation, but anytime someone is arrested for a sick crime you look at their eyes and it just seems so obvious.

Curious, and totally not trying to be a ######, but would you think the exact same thing if it was a male coach?

I know it's not directed at me.... but yep. If there's anything Law & Order has taught me, it's that it only takes a mother with a vendetta against a coach to push a child into saying something happened or string a truth into a lie. It can and does happen. Not saying that's the case here as that's just one example... but I have learned to not trust a few things in life. The internet, any form of "news" media, and anyone with revenge or jealousy on the mind.

Having said that, I'm sure the cops have some hard evidence like phone texts or something of that sort to bring charges against her (at least I think it's required?)

I wonder what percentage of cases/investigated complaints actually proceed to having charges laid against someone?

She won't. She'll probably claim that they are in love and she'll end up on the Oprah Winfrey show.

Well in a coaching relationship like this it seems pretty easy, the coach takes on a parental like role, at least for brief periods of time. Parents aren't there because they've entrusted their child to the supervision of someone who should be trustworthy. Parents can't be there every single second.

I actually think that the women is probably guilty. I'm just not willing to convict her without a hearing. Children do lie and older children can get quite good at it.

If it was a male coach instead of a female I would be of the same opinion: Probably true but, wouldn't be suprised if it turned out to be false.

Interestingly, I would be quicker to believe the charges if it was a 13 year old boy who made them towards a male or female coach. I find it very unlikely that a boy would come up with a tale of sexual abuse in order to gain revenge or attention.

To me, I have trouble laughing at this. This coach is no better then Grahame James.

Its disgusting that people pray on kids.

Hopefully the justice system is gender blind.

I like to wait until the evidence comes out until saying someone is guilty. I'm sure the police have evidence if they have charged her though. If she is guilty hopefully it's equal to that what a man would get in a similar situation.

Either way her life is going to be pretty screwed up from here on out guilty or not. With the media today, her name is all over the place now.

Unfortunately if it turns out that she's not guilty, if you look her up, I'm sure there will be far more articles describing how she was charged, and fewer stating it turned out she was innocent.
