Dammit. I hate winning like that. He should have skied it.

Either way, no one can say that a draw wasnt a fair result.

I agree, Arsenal didn't play well enough to win. Seems like they've been too timid/passive for some time now.

Wenger brought on a DM in Song in the 75th minute or so, when he absolutely needed a win

Wenger is no better than Mancini in that respect, way too passive

He knows his team and I think he sensed that we could have had one of our calamitous defensive blunders. With his players, there will always be attack so...

I feel hard-done today but not sure by who... The world? Football gods? Squad?

Its one of those things, the ref called a decent game until the last minute there where he lost his mind.

Two soft penalties decided this game. I'd have had a lot more respect for the ref if he'd called neither of them and the end result would have been the same.

It was a dive. I'm not happy about it, but again, the draw was fair.

I'm not too worried about that to be honest. Like you said, both penalties probably wash each other out.

The only thing that people should complain about is Eboue deciding to give Lucas the chance to go down. Despite going down easily, it was still a deserved penalty from a challenge that should never have been given.

Lucas knew what he was doing he planted himself and Eboue ran in to him

it was a smart play not a dive at all

Fair enough, I hate when stupid little plays like that drastically affect the outcome of a match.

Arsenal really should have done better against a back line of Robinson, Flanagan, Kygriakos and Skrtl though, I mean, thats one first team regular out of 4. Not to mention no Gerrard in midfield and having Spearing in there too.

That was a fairly depleted Liverpool squad.

I watched that again, and you can clearly see Eboue steps on Lucas' heel and puts his shoulder into him. Lucas certainly went down easy, but it was hardly a dive.

Wenger was choked about time. He felt that after the free kick the whistle should have gone, but he totally disregards the fact that van Persie takes a minute and a half running around without a shirt on and the time to set the free kick up all gets added on.

If he wants to blame someone blame RVP. Kenny was great! 'Piss off.'
