Seriously, bring a few eggs with you and leave them in random places. Medicine cabinet, bookshelves, behind the can, whatever. Don't even bring up the egging incident, let him find them on his own.

No idea, most everyone on the street is very social. This is one of the few houses with no kids, never see them outside. Has been no event since the initial egg tossing.

I'd go get $4 worth of crickets from river front aquariums, they come in a plastic bag from there so you dont have to handle them, and pour them in his bathroom heat return vent. If they're the big ones, the chirping all night will drive them nuts.

Round up the other neighbors that got egged and after a pleasant evening of poker comes to an end, everybody eggs the crap out of him and his house.
Afterwards, calmly explain that there's no hard feelings, just a neighborhood tradition that was started last summer by some a-hole that lives down the street.
