Pretty much a poor comeback to Layton's shot at Ignatieff missing votes.

Where does it say that the opposition leaders would agree to form a coalition? Suppose the GG does as the letter requests. She asks the opposition leaders if they are willing to form a coalition government (well within confines of our democracy) and they say no (which seems likely since they never agreed to form a coalition government in the first place). That's it, that's all. You don't have a leg to stand on here. You want to claim that a letter asking the GG to consider her options is a smoking gun that points to Harper trying to form a coalition government and it isn't.

Yes he did, but according to him, he had no idea at the time that it was a private clinic.

"Where the boot-meets-the-pavement type police man who meet with the public every day - overwhelmingly there is not support for this registry," said Kuntz.
He believes the reason for the negative response lies with the firearms database. Kuntz says while it shows weapons and their owners, it doesn't tell officers where the firearms are actually located. That means there's no way to assure a firearm is actually in the possession of the person who registered it.
"It hasn't saved anybody. In fact it can be dangerous because if you rely on the information in the firearms registry, as a police officer that could be a foolish thing to do and it could cost you your life."

I can't stop looking at Harper's shoulder pads. He definitely lost the fashion debate.

If they were going to say "never mind, carry on", why would they ask for a consultation in the first place? Gilles says it was a coalition agreement, Jack says it was a coalition agreement, and it only makes sense that it was a coalition agreement. Harper is lying through his teeth, unless you're the NHL war room.

To me, the order of doing well in this debate was
1. Ignatieff
2. Layton
3. Duceppe
4. Harper
