Don't forget the book labelled hot air sitting behind him.
Its funny with the Liberals, someone really sunk the blade into Dion's back early and often in terms of convincing him about the worlds dumbest platform, and then the terrible job they did with the coalition (I'm talking to you Bob Rae)
And then Rae went to war with Ignatieff.

The 1960 US Presidential Debates say 'Hi'! The 'American Idol' generation was arguably two or three generations away. And charisma and appearance on TV mattered.

It has nothing to do with blasting video quality.
First and foremost the media had set a deadline and the Liberal's were late.
Second the video was incompetantly shot, your the official opposition and the second wealthiest party in the country and you can't shoot a video.
Basically the whole thing was balls up and unprofessional.

I don't think Dion needed help with that. Well what do you expect when your leadership selection is totally flawed?
He did pretty well for a 3rd place guy, just like Stelmach......

I think that the only way it could have been worse for the Liberals is if Bob Rae had assumed the leadership.
With the Sponser Ship Scandal, combined with Ontario's hatred of Rae, the Liberals' might have ended up with 15 seats and we would have a conservative majority right now.
I think Dion was a pretty honest and honorable guy, but he was sold a rotten platform by his caucus and he was gunned in the back a couple of times on the campaign trail.
And I do agree Stelmach is a lot like Dion, he's a nice man, but he's a raving dunderhead.

Your confusing my being undecided with not having an opinion though. I might have no idea who to vote for, but I still read all of this and have an opinion!

Dude, Elizabeth Hasslebeck is supremely drool-worthy.
I pretty much disagree with every single word that comes out of her pie-hole, but I would do things to that woman that would make Tiger Woods blush.

He's been holding his own so far. All anyone else has done is sling mud. Haven't heard a single idea from any of the other leaders.

Anyone else impressed with the double-dick microphones each candidate seems to be wearing.

This is exactly the same thing that happened to Martin when he had the minority govt. and Harper was on the other side of the fence then.
