Default Song Help

There was a song in the 90s, I believe it was something around "going down" or something, and the video... the singer was on the inside of a plane going down, all calm while everyone else was freaking out.

One hit wonder, alternative band. I don't remember any of the lyrics, or the band name.

Hoping this loosens up the memory in someones mind.

Harder alternative... More Eve 6, Bush like, in sound and era.

I think this is what you're thinking of, although they aren't one-hit wonders...

I'll have to search what else they've done.

It's like you're named after a private investigator or something.

I felt bad for the lack of information I was providing, considering I used to work at a formerly well established video store, and had to deal with the vaguest of questions on a daily basis. Thanks again for everyone's attempt. Glad it was found!

Yeah, what was the movie that came out a few months ago? It has that guy. He was in that movie a few years ago too.

Right! It's that guy with the face where they go somewhere and do that stuff with those other guys.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but I have one that is bugging me.

I think I saw this on wimp.com, but can not find it.

I don't think it's a music video, rather a French documentary of an American band in France I think.

It's a kind of Indie/Folk song.

The clip starts off about them talking in the van on the way to a kind of indoor fancy shopping area. The band starts off with one guitar I think walking down a corridor with the camera man in front walking backwards. As the guitarist advances, other band members join him until it is the full band and they are playing an acoustic version of their song.

The song is live, and recorded without cuts, and has a few people that come out to watch the band while others pass by.

I remember I liked the acoustic version better than the album version which is why I didn't buy it, but now I regret it and can't find them. Can't remember the song or the band name or any lyrics. Any help?
