Just had to respond to this post again...
Tom Hardy in the move Warrior set to be released this fall.
Like in Bronson, the guy has the ability to pack on major pounds. Underrated actor.

I know right, #### me. Just started reading it and I know how it ends more or less. Oh well, should be a good read anyway.

He's still about 500 pounds short of Bane's weight.

Well of course there is nobody who is going to be able to be Bane's real size.
And unless you want some meathead like Brock Lesnar to be Bane there is no real choice. Any good actor with any real acting skills is not even gonna be remotely close to Bane's size.

Or not seriously enough.
To get that real performance our of Hardy we should invent, develop and then inject him with the actual Bane formula. It's the only sensible answer.

He looks cut there, but not particularly big. He going to have to really bulk up.

I'm Bane's size. They just wouldn't accept the fact that I'd do the role if they donated my salary to an orphanage and the quest to cure death. Unfortunately I had to back out. Now I'm back to selling insurance online. Need any insurance?

They could use a blow-up doll or stick-figure version of Bane, and it would still be better than this monstrosity.

Ugh!

Tom Hardy couldn't be cast any better. This movie is going to further cement his place as a Hollywood A-lister. Bane is such an easy character to #### up, but a Nolan / Hardy vision for the character couldn't have been more fitting for a real attempt to make Bane workable on multiple levels.
