Glenn Beck taking his lunatic act elsewhere

Apparently leaving Fox News at the end of the year. Some sites are reporting that his ratings have dropped 40% this year. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/show...s-program.html |

Agreed. It's too bad that news organizations have become such breeding grounds for polarization and misinformation. The American media have really become an impediment to their own democratic process, and it really all started with Reagan repealing the Fairness Act.

Let's be honest, kids. His primo real estate slot on Fox will be filled by another one of these talking heads like Hannity or whatever.
Allan Bloom: "It is not evident to me that someone whose regular reading consists of 'Time,' 'Playboy,' and 'Scientific American' has any profounder wisdom about the world than the rural schoolboy of yore with his McGuffey's reader."

That guy's the worst. I remember like 5 years ago when I had never heard of him, I just saw some plug for one of his shows where they were going to look at Middle East propaganda TV shows/commercials about the West all episode. I thought it sounded awesome (not knowing who he was, figuring it was legit), and made a thread on here about it for others to tune in. After about 10min of watching it I was completely embarassed about even starting such a thread, I'm surprised I didn't get ripped on for that actually. What a complete tool that guy is.

I used to think he was ok when he was on CNN. He must have got off his meds or something when he moved over to Fox.

It would be hilarious if he and Olbermann ended up on the same network. The internal bickering would be monumental. Can you imagine if those two ended up on the same show as co-hosts? The ratings would be through the roof, especially after the first on-air slap fight.

Strange it would come out now in April that he is leaving at the end of the year - 8 months from now.
News Corp has one thing in mind, that is the bottom line so if his ratings are down that much then that it would make sense.

			His ratings have dropped 40%?
I thought the recent surge of the 'tea party' meant Americans have become stupider and are only listening to the likes of Beck?
