Are you kidding me? The strippers in Calgary are all FUGLY!
The waitresses at Cactus Club, Joey Tomatoes, Earls, Moxies, are all 1000 times better.
I think the strip joints in Calgary get all the girls that like to flaunt it but are not hot enough to serve and they have no choice but to take off all their clothes

Haha - fair enough - I haven't been to a strip joint anywhere in probably 10 years, so I don't really know.
I guess the main point for me is - if the server is good looking it's a bonus. But they better be able to get my order right and bring me my food and drinks as required.

Just FYI dirty old men, the Moxies on Macleod near Anderson was all porn-star quality jailbait when I went there. Unfortunately, I had Mrs. Impaler with me so I had to use my gift certificate on disgusting Moxies fare, instead of for the purpose that baby Jesus intended... A certain lawfirm in this city sends out Moxies gift certificates as thanks for referrals - I probably should have just re-gifted them.

I was talking to a buddy that runs a pub and asked about the link b/w hot and good waitress. He said it was a real struggle because the really smart, good waitresses that were also hot were alway scooped up by Vegas. They can make so much more money for less effort that it just makes sense to go there on the weekends. Not sure how true that is but judging by the very bad service we got from the quite attractive wait staff it holds some merit.

It seems unlikely that the average waitress in Calgary would be able to get a work visa to go work in Vegas, if you're in the US, obviously that would be different.
