Default House Rentals For One Day/Night
A buddy of mine is looking into renting a house/condo/lodge for a day and night for his wife's birthday. Possibly getting a PR system and maybe a keg and DJ. Anyone have any experience wit this? Is it possible to get one in Calgary? Maybe just outside the city?

I really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Why do you need a house?

What about renting a community hall? A friend rented one for her 30th and had a big dinner then moved the tables and brought a DJ in.

Or get a conference room at a hotel?

"Really? Because I just need it for one night for a massive house party, with a keg and DJ. But it's cool because it's for my, uhhh wife...right, my wife. I am totally not looking for a place to have a huge party and trash and not repair under the guise that I am married"

I don't understand why you wouldn't do a community hall. Seems like a way better venue for a party.

There is a cute log cabin community hall between Bragg Creek and Millarville. You could make lots of noise there, and not bother anyone. I will see if I can find info on it.
