Deerfoot bridgework....again.

Northbound Deerfoot will be a headache this summer. An hour long commute to work should be about normal.

Two bridgedecks will be worked on: The Calf Robe bridge and the bridge over Ogden rd. The work is suppose to start at the end of April and go into October. With no SE LRT, it's going to be a painful drive into work this year.

Options out of the SE are limited. 52nd will be shut down south of 98th Ave for a year so that's out. That leaves Barlow and MacLeod to get into the downtown.

They will do one at a time....why? Not entirely sure why they don't wait a year until the ring road opens to reduce some of the congestion.

That's City Planning for you. I wonder what Deerfoot project is on the table for next year?
