Hes a lovable clutz. Thankfully Jays had a 10 run buffer to allow him and Bautista's errors.

That was a pretty dominant performance. The hitting was outstanding, against many different pitchers. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Edwin Encarnacion. E5 is the term for error by the 3rd baseman, which is where he plays. He also makes a ton of errors, which is why he has that nickname.

I'm sorry, but E5 is, and always will be, Ed Sprague.

What a great start..can not ask for much better. Pitching was great, and offense picked up right where it left off.
Love the agression on the basepaths. Always watch other teams do that to the Jays...will be nice to see it the other way around for once.

Davis finding a way to get back to 1st after being almost picked off has to the TSN turning point. That was a huge play to get back.

If tonight is any indication, at least they should be fun to watch again this season.
Love the speed Davis and Escobar bring to the 1-2 spot. The double steal was one of my favorite hilights of the night.
First time seeing Rivera bat........he seemed a little awkward and 'off'. Kind of tough seeing the DH so low down in the order. Anyone have a decent scouting report on him?

He did look a little off but still drew a walk. Had a very strong season 2 years ago. He should still be a solid bat though for the Jays. Really enjoy seeing his name come up at the end of the lineup along with Rivera, Arencebia and Snider.

My favorite part had to be every Bautista at bat. He looked very comfortable, patient and drove that Home run just like last year. With everything he's said during the offseason and his reputation around the team, I don't think we are going to see a drastic fall from grace by any means.

Can't imagine a better start, love their lineup and it looks as though the chemistry on this team is as good as it gets.

That double steal last night reminded me of the old days with Devon White and Roberto Alomar.

Arencibia has the most epic season debuts in history. 2 games, he's knocked out 4 home runs a double, triple.
Jays should be a fun team to watch this year. Will be most interesting to see how Bautista does. Not only does he have a big contract, but he's also got the nay sayers saying he's a one year wonder. But he seems the type to keep going about his business and prove his worth. I hope he does.
