It said nothing about Alan molesting a child. He just a baby at Coffee Bean once.

That was a joke for about 10 seconds of the movie. It wasn't like his character was centered around it, or that the movie dwelled on child molestation and made light of it.

I enjoyed the first but just watching that trailer I'd bet all the money I don't have this will be a huge let down. The plot looks the same in every single way. I get the whole "if it anit' broke don't fix it" but really? The exact same plot? Lame.

Yeah I didn't laugh once during that trailer. Sometimes that's a good sign and sometimes it isn't, but I'm not expecting great things from this one. Thought the first one was good but highly overrated.

I liked the first one initially and a little less after each time I saw it again but still original and a decent flick.

The trailer for #2 looks like it's going to be a big commercialized bust. "Check your pockets for clues?" Really? None of the jokes did anything for me and it's following the same script far to closely. Was really hoping for some originality with this one

Looks amazing. Wish I didn't watch the trailer. Stopped it after a 3/4 of it, as it shows way too much.

I didnt laugh out loud as much in Hangover as Old School, but it was still amazing and very entertaining.

Even the most pretentious of movie critics would laugh at Peter12's comments in this thread.

To further add to this...it was actually a toungue in cheek reference to his real life stand-up routine.

So, from this thread we can all conclude that peter12 is, in actual fact, an 82 year old woman named Lady Heatherington.

Count me in to the group that liked the first one but thought it was vastly overrated. Still going to see the second one, with tempered expectations. I could really care less if the plot's basically the same, these movies aren't really about the storyline are they? Just fun summer movies, enjoy it for what it is. Some people take this stuff way too seriously, these kinds of movies aren't worth the critiquing they're putting into them.

This.

I don't understand why people get their panties in a knot over movies so much. If you don't think you'll like it, don't see it. Not every movie needs to be going for an Oscar and a Nobel Prize. Sometimes it's just fun to watch a movie.

Which was exactly my point... why should anyone care what movies/tastes anyone else has either.

It's a movie. Movies are supposed to entertain. People find entertainment from different things. Yes some people even are entertained by the WNBA, not me, but I could care less that someone else is.

Oh noes its not intellectual. SOCIETY IS FALLING!

The films that I watch are rarely, if ever, intellectual. Can a film be intellectual? A man can only take so much Werner Herzog.

Ugh, this thread is becoming pretty irritating, especially for a Friday.

I'm out.

Looking forward to the movie!

Probably because people like watching movies that are good.

Unless you trying to tell me people bashing movies like Bounty Hunter are out of line because you know what... its just entertainment.

People can bash and critique movies all they want... its what we do.
