Worth the 15 bucks easy to guarantee them. They do recline as well. The window seat has first class legroom as there is no seat in front of you, and the inside armrest is regular size, I don't recall the outside one being any different. Also there is a tray table stowed in the armrest if you are wondering. Some people don't know it's there. It is a neat puzzle sort of thing. I get these seats every time I fly Westjet.

well i sat there on my last flight and it was by the bathroom. If you don't mind little kids running around your feet, people on sleeping pills stepping on your feet and the smell of crap the entire flight it's not bad.

When I flew out from Victoria last month I had the front row seats on the left aisle. Thee TV's were further ahead of you and your tray folded out from your right hand arm rest. I had solid leg room.

I like flying West Jet.

My preferred seat is window in the last couple of rows where the aisle has already been taken by someone else. That provides the best odds of not having anyone in the middle seat beside you. At 6'2", I appreciate the legroom of the emergency exit row, but I like not having someone beside me even more.

As others have posted on here, Seatguru.com is your best friend. I always try to book the exit row seating on Westjet, making sure you are in the actual row (so your seats still recline) and getting the sweetness that is 12F on the 737-700's for that super extra legroom goodness.

I'm rocking 12F on my flight to YYZ tomorrow.

I'm tall, so I'd liike to book it, but seat guru says it is less padded with short armrests. Can anyone comment on comfort/non-comfort? Also, I like looking out the window most of the time if its clear out. Is that pretty much a wing view seat?

How long is the flight? If you are only going to an hour and a half somewhere, who cares about padding if you are going to have the leg room.

From my experience some emergency exit rows don't have trays on the seat in front of you, they are in the armrest.

Not sure what there's to be confused about? I'm wondering how comfortable the exit row seats are as seatguru reports them as having an issue with comfort. It's a five hour flight. I wouldnt care if it was an hour or two long flight.

The best seats on Westjet are the 2x2 seat rows on the 738s - so comfortable when flying to Hawaii.

Your joking right? Doesnt even make a differnce in your leg room. Inless you have a two foot gut on you, you cant even tell the seat infron is reclined

I frown upon strangers getting any closer to me than needed. Like that inch of recline is making anyone more comfortable.

hahaha, you are so not who I would think needs exit row seating!? I just think you like the satisfaction of knowing you managed to get the best seat on the plane more than actually enjoying the leg room. lol

I am 6'4/220 and I fly a lot and have come to tolorate pretty much any seat on the plane. I find the non-recline seats in front of exit row really good for short flights where I wasnt going to recline anyways. I am not sure what it is, they feel like they are half an inch taller to the hip, with a fraction more knee room. Exit row is obviously great. Bulk head was not all it was cracked up to be in my opinion. Tall guys have big feet, and you have no where to put them one your toes hit the wall in front of you, plus you often end up sitting next to very obese people, or people with other issues (handicapped, babies, etc) that can be.... distracting/high stress on a long flight.

I think any window or aisle seat is pretty good. Especially in the front of the plane.

I am always looking for a spare middle seat versus actual leg room. Exit row or bulk head virtually guarantee a full row on any remotely busy flight.

It's not the people that recline that annoy me, it's the ones that don't even do the guilty look back as they do it, then end up shifting in their seat so much that my tray keeps bouncing around. I was using my ipad last flight and the girl in front of me knocked it off my tray table 3 times because of her bucking around. But this isn't a WRGMG thread so I'll stop now.

That's just how I roll when I fly, I also like that Westjet lets exit row passengers board first.

Plus when work is paying what does that extra charge mean to me? Nothing! Booya!
