This is the problem. I didn't know you retweeted that. Retweets are important because they let you know what kind of material your followers enjoy. It's not that I need validation, I just like not annoying people.

So how does one find out what tweets have been retweeted? I doubt anything I've ever said was retweetable but I want to check.

Hootsuite is a one program that allows you to view anything that you've been mentioned on.

What's the best/easiest way to see if the people you're following are following you back and see if you're following the people who are following you?

There are a couple of programs out there. One that I'm not entirely sure that works all to well is www.refollow.com.... But I'm skeptical if it actually works.

With the changes to Twitter's API I thought something like this might happen: they only allow 10 changes to your twitter list. After that you have to pay $5 a month. They blames Twitter for having to charge.

It seems that Twitter is really trying to clamp down on third party software and functionality. I understand why they would want to do this but it doesn't make it easy to use the features you want to.

I can see mentions fine...but the new RT system doesn't exactly make a new tweet like it used to. Does it pick out new RTs as well?

Echofon on my iPhone let's me know when I get a RT, and then you can just do a search using some of the words in your tweet to see who RT it.

I was a little dissapointed this weekend with twitter. Had a question on where to find a good chinese food buffet thinking twitter would be a great place to do this. So I asked the question threw up some #yyc and #yycfood hashtags so people would find it yet I did not get one response back. What did I do wrong?
