Outdoor rinks are getting tougher to find. The one I'd been taking my kids to (North Glenmore Park) the past couple of years has been demolished. The past four days, I've taken them to a little rink (alas, no boards) on 16th Street and 38th Avenue SW. Really good ice, but on Saturday I had to spend an hour and a half shoveling it.

Since when is rollerblading gay? I've heard this from a few people lately. Maybe if you rollerblade along venice beach with no shirt and neon spandex, but not in Calgary.

Straight down the block from Fotze's in the park.It was there yesterday. I won a Stanley Cup there 30 no 40
 short years ago.

If you do a search of a year ago you might find a whole bunch of outdoor rinks.

Just played for a few hours tonite...ice was fine but if this weather keeps up I don't expect it to stay long.

Hockey was good, aside from the 2 asshats who only passed to each other, eventually everyone switched teams... But it was a good time.
