A very lengthy but interesting look into the step by step capture of Tom Cruise by Scientology.

its probably not a good idea to mock a religion, but ive read up on Scientology and it is blatently made up. It is the most ridiculous set of ideas ive ever heard. For instance, they believe that Psychologists are working with Soviet Russia to brainwash the world! This part came out just after some psychologists openly critisized some of Scientology's ideas. Also, the idea that you gain more 'enlightenment' the more money you donate?! and these things arent even mentioning the 'history' behind it.

I love reading/listening to LRH's actual writings/lectures.

"I suppose the guy who has trouble running another Thetan at that proximity probably not very horse-powered or something of the sort. Well all I ever did was a body Thetan was just think "go to the .. uh .. uh .. think Incident One zoooom! Go through it, get your stop off you know", "Rmmm", he says "Rmmmm. Zooooom! Hrrm. Hey that's mine!" he'd say. "I'm leaving!" I'd say "Good bye!"

"They were imported. They were actually .. the trick was to shoot somebody, disable somebody, very often a needle into a lung and at the same time to hit him with frozen alcohol and glycol which preparation is guaranteed to pick up a Thetan. All they had to do was pick him up and put him in a refrigerator and they had him, boy. If he tried to exteriorize from the body, there he was, frozen.
And they threw 'em into collection points, boxed 'em up in boxes, threw 'em into space planes which were the exact copies of DC8's, the DC8 airplane is the exact copy of the space plane of that day. And, no difference, except the DC8 had fans, propellers on it and the space plane didn't."

"Well, I know this: that onto this planet there's a great deal of dumping has gone on. Stuff from the nearby galaxy -- not this galaxy but from the next galaxy over and so forth, is going on here. I know they take political prisoners and guys who they don't want around, but it's less personal than you think. They just have excess population so they start to get rid of their excess population, you see? They've got a revolt, or you're on the wrong side of a war, or something like that, and they pick you up in droves, and ice-cube you and throw you into a sea someplace.
I know this planet has been subjected to that and several planets in this immediate end of this galaxy have been subjected to that -- that I know"

"You are going to run into this character starts going round and round and round and they say "The helicopter's going to cra-ash, it's going to cra-ash" and you're looking for a helicopter action. What the hell it's R6 boy and nothin' else. And I don't know, I think for about a day or two it takes this helicopter to crash in R6. Err, there's no helicopter there, the guy's frozen in alcohol and glycol, and sitting in a block, being given a big 3D Cecil B. De Milles special motion picture"

"But there's the incident called "The Obscene Dog" with it's just a little bit later than Incident One. And sometimes actually by running it, why you can get the PC into Incident One. The Obscene Dog was a sort of a brass dog in a sitting position and anybody who got around to the front of the dog got caught in some electronic current and passed through the dog to the dogs rear end and spat out. Thetans didn't like this"

"his society belongs nominally to the Espinol United Stars. This is Sun 12, and it is one little tiny pinpoint. Their whole title is "Espinol United Stars..", pardon me, "Espinol United Moons, Planets and Asteroids, this part of the Universe is ours, Hup!"
But this, yeah, "This quarter of the Universe is ours," it translates better. "This quarter of the Universe is ours." And it's so much quarter of the universe, and this is so lost in the middle of it that there's been no command post occupied for this system now since 1150 A.D., at the time when a group on Mars was finally abolished and vanished, and so forth, and nobody took any interest in this system. This system has been running wild since that time"

"And although I don't think you'd have very much pleasure out of kissing a girl from Jupiter - that's a heavy-gravity planet, and if you stepped on the planet Jupiter in one of these meat bodies that you presently have, you would become a pancake promptly, you see? And what atmosphere it has lies in seas of liquid air and so on. You might say that this is somewhat rigerous as an environment, not completely similar to Russia but.. [laughter]. So you do get these various variations. And it's not all that horrifying however.
You find somebody running around the planet Jupiter, he'd be built to withstand that climatic condition, and the gravitic condition and so forth, and his legs might be a bit modified and his arms and that sort of thing, but he would probably look like an Eskimo"

- L. Ron Hubbard on Scientology, which states that billions of years ago, the Evil Emperor Xenu supressed a revolt in his galactic empire by sticking alcohol and glycol into people and freezing them, then flying them in space planes (which look exactly like the DC8 except without propellers) to Earth and dumping them into Earth's volcanos which were then exploded by atomic bombs and these Alien Thetan souls are on Earth in the billions inside every human being today. Oh yeah, at some point a giant obscene dog ate everybody and shinguarded them out the other end.

The only thing is, somehow they've managed to convince people this actually happened.

I heard that him and his buddy both tried to start a religion to see who could make the most money... totaly hearsay, but whatever.

They are crackers. Complete nut jobs.

Not a good idea to mock religion? Why not?
Scientology is made up...so is Mormanism, Christianity, JWs, all of it. Its just differences in scope and meaning.
The idea that we have to remain neutral to silly people espousing silly ideas is a mockery in itself. Teach your kids to believe in ghosts? Is that right?

I actually know a family of Scientologists. Nice people, but strange.

They actually do this thing where you go to the church, and they yell at you, mock you, and basically try to destroy your self-esteem. It's supposed to be valuable somehow.

I can't stand this Scientology crap. The great creator is a giant alien? The creator of this religion just so happens to have a few mental disorders? Not to mention the guy who created this joke of a religion has openly stated that he doesn't mind women being raped, since that's their purpose anyways. Bah! Burn in Hell!

Sorry, I just can't stand people who openly look to destroy other people, it's a joke. By the way, there's a really funny site on scientology called ScienTomology, including the ever awesome Tom Cruise going Darth Sidious on Opera.

There is no creator. Xenu was the evil emperor of a galatic empire with many thriving alien species but it became overpopulated so he froze excess aliens into ice cubes and dumped them into earth's volcanos and then he collected their souls and placed them in special 3D theatres where they were brainwashed into believing things about Western culture like religion and politics and psychiatrists. Then these souls went into primative humans and have infested us to this day.

L. Ron Hubbard begged the army to get him psychiatric help but they wouldn't so that's why he's so against psychiatrists and medication and he weaved it into his sci-fi religion which he created in order to make money.

What's the Scientology's Navy called again? They have like a fleet of international ships and uniformed ranks and everything. It's called Sea Force or something stupid like that. Being in international waters helps you avoid prosecution and taxes from foreign countries.

Looks like they opened a new museum today...

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 19 /U.S. Newswire/ -- With public distrust of psychiatry ever-increasing-and government agency drug warnings at an all time high-Scientology's psychiatric watchdog shows it's much worse than you think.
Community and government leaders from across the globe were joined by ardent celebrity supporters Lisa Marie Presley, Priscilla Presley, Danny Masterson, Giovanni Ribisi, Leah Remini, Jenna Elfman, Catherine Bell and Marisol Nichols at the grand opening of a new state of the art museum Psychiatry an Industry of Death.
Created by the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, the museum featured 14 documentaries with statements from a number of health professionals and other experts, as well as from victims of psychiatric brutalities ranging from electroshock and involuntary commitment to political torture, psychosurgery and the devastating effects of psychotropic drugs.

Time Magazine's "Scientology:The Thriving Cult of Greed and Power"
Thank Time Magazine for having the guts to publish the truth about this deadly, criminal cult. At times past, reporters have had their car's break lines cut by this cult, and Mr. Richard Behar deserves our thanks.
