Mmmm, I could go for a leek, smoked sausage and egg pannenkoek right about now!
Wrong move with the sausage, definitely overpowers everything. any other meat choice is better

She made them for lunch, and they were fantastic, but only after I was full did she start making the chocolate chip ones...

My waistline did not like it one bit.

Well, leek has a pretty strong flavour.

In terms of waffle makers, avoid Cuisinart. They have bad handles that break easily, and they brown waffles so unevenly that it looks like they suffer from psoriasis!

mods: Can you turn the OP into a poll, to see how many people made waffles because of this thread?

Imma ask Aunt Jemima to cut me in on the profits I've mustered.

I find the best waffle makers are the pro-style ones they have at a lot of the hotel chains now, even the boxed batter they use with them is quite good. Thems makes me sum delicus wafles.

Anything involving batter is good. Double good if frying is involved, but thats for another thread.
