That may be all they charge up front, but Ark probably gets a huge percent of any future profits.
Sounds like this song has been heavily downloaded on iTunes, so money is being made by someone.

With the right hands on deck it's not so expensive to produce good quality stuff these days. Everything Ark do is shot on Canon DSLRs. If they have a decent cameraman and editor/motion artist on staff so they don't have to pay freelance rates then they could easily be pocketing at least half of that figure as clear profit.

I like how the media is reporting her song as a "hit" on the internet because of how many views it got. They make it sound like it was some incredibly awesome song that everyone wanted to listen to.
