I couldn't really put into context the power of these waves that hit the shore, until I saw that video.

Absolutely nuts.. I feel terrible for all of the families and business owners that were lined up on that walk way/roof top.

I do got to say the video is insane.

I watched a show on TLC last night about the 2004 Tsunami, it was all amateur video. Unreal, so sad to watch.

I was going to make a stupid joke about the fact that the cars are all small, light weight Japanese cars and American made cars probably wouldn't even move.....

Then at the 3 minute mark a large truck and trailer go floating by.

Wow... just unbelievable.

I feel sorry for all the people driving on that road. I'm sure a lot of them lost their lives, as I can't imagine how they'd be able to survive that huge wave coming at them.

Jesus... watching the videos is sooo sad, that 6min video, that person trying to drive away most def didnt make it, no way in hell could you outrun something like that. Makes you appreciate the strength of something like this.

I dont think many people realize just how bad it is there...

Wow...definitely the craziest video of them all that I've seen. You can see just how ridiculous that wave was from that angle.
