I too used to never understand the appeal to Guinness... I'd have 1 a year with a shot of whiskey for about a 5yr stretch on St.Patties, and that's it.

Then I started trying it more often, and I feel it definately is an aquired taste.

It's still something I need to be "in the mood for"... but I will on occasion order one and definitely won't turn one down anymore if someone offers me one.

I'm yet to go full Irish and have one at slightly below room temp. Tho other "english" beers at room temp have no appeal to me either... unless I'm in England, then I'll have a couple out of respect of course while I'm there

Anyhoo...

Happy St. Patties!

No Gone Baby Gone? That's gotta be one of the best Boston flicks.

He is right. Although the stuff we have here is also very good.

Probably. But practically all Guinness consumed in North America is brewed in... Montreal

Ugh indeed. I ammmmm hung ova! Apparently I got kicked out of the bar and my gf's furious with me, and I literally couldn't tell ya why on both counts, zero memory of last night past 7:30. And the side of my bed has green stuff all over it, I'm assuming that's upchuckery by yours truly. Don't even know who won the Flames game (don't tell me!), thank jeebus for PVR.

I heart St. Paddy's Day.
