I wonder if they know they are viewed as pathetic losers by pretty much the rest of the city? Its good to see them out though, hopefully its sunny and they catch a tan.

I might show up to observe.
But I'd be wearing a suit and a Guy Fawkes mask.

As a Chinese Person I don't see how you CAN'T see the difference. Chinese New Year's isn't about race or ethnicity, it's about celebrating the New Year. It's a celebration, happy, positive. It's basically the opposite of what these guys are doing. Heck you even say in your post that they are basically protesting which is pretty much not very positive or celebratory, unless they are marking the birth of some great racist that i'm not aware of.

Just leave them alone. Theres nothing more depressing than seeing the non-racists being the ones escorted away by the Police.

Is there, I don't know, something like "The Feast Of Chinese Racial Supremacy"?
If so, then yeah, there is no difference.

To further your point, I went to the Mandarin on the Chinese New Year and got a free calender.
I wonder what would happen if a Chinese person showed up at neo-nazi rally....

I would totally go on Saturday if there were free neo-nazi calendars being given out. That's their problem - poor marketing.

According to John Mar via Twitter they are starting at the Harry Hays building and heading south down Macleod Trail to City hall, sometime between 9am and 4pm.

It's easy to have a variance of a start time like that when 90% of these losers are unemployed. Who knows what time some of them will be up and ready to take the bus down there.
Nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage and ethnicity - even if you're white; but that's not what happening with these clowns. Their pride comes from the degradation of other ethnic groups.

The only way this could be more vague is if they said "sometime between now and next summer"

Well he is a notorious fence sitter on council, who knows what side he'll take on this...
Seriously though, he seems pretty worked up about this march (understandably) and is spreading the word on twitter for those that may wish to counter them.

Celebrating Chinese New Years is like celebrating St. Patricks Day. They're celebrating a tradition, not the fact that they are superior because they look a certain way. This White Pride March is celebrating white people superiority. That's the difference.

Couldn't agree more.
There's often a fine line between pride in your own people and hatred towards others. "White pride", however, is definitely all about hate, and it's not even debatable. What does it mean to be "white" anyways, well other than excluding everyone who does not fit your own personal definition of white.
If this was a parade celebrating some specific culture (ex. St. Patrick's Day), it wouldn't be a problem, but this is nothing like Chinese New Year. It's hatred pure and simple.

I know a lot of Fraternal and Masonic robes are sent to special drycleaners. Not too many pointed hoods are being dropped off at fishmans.

There will not be 1000 supremacists there.
50 tops. Although the actualy number is likely to be closer to 30 and apparently a lot of people from these marches are out of towners.
Personally, I find it embarassing that these people get so much press considering they are such a tiny minority in Calgary.

Counter-protesting just makes these mouth-breathing dungmunchers feel important. They're not. Just point and laugh if you see them while about your daily business, otherwise they deserve nothing more than being ignored.
