Yeah good stuff. I was happy that I was able to last to the money as near the short stack almost from the get go...quite the game tonight. Thanks everyone.

It sucked pretty much having to eliminate myself at around 10:50ish because I was going out.

I wasnt expecting to play on Friday, but then realized I wasnt going out till later..then the tournament went longer then I expected..darn.

Theoretically. It's really a different game. The other thing you have to remember is that you see so few hands live compared to online. Many internet players really lack patience. If you 3-table online you see, what, 150-200/hr? Live, you see 20-25, since most dealers suck.

I played in a tournament here in Lethbridge one time and during the first hour we got in 44 hands, the card were that bad! Not one person got knocked out.

Then you go to a person sitting in a "booth" area and give them $100, $200, etc and they give you the chips. After your done (If you still have chips) go back to the "booth" area give them your chips and you get money back.

cool, I will probably start hitting up a few casinos saturday nights when I feel comfortable. I'm a little bit of a social recluse so getting out more would be great. thanks man

If anyone is interested, we could meet up for the 10 am Deerfoot tourney on a Saturday, and then play some 1/2 - we could probably get a private table if enough people showed.
