I really want to transcribe the "rap" part so I can laugh at it over and over again.
I'm not sitting through that again though. The first time it was hilarious, but after two listens it might become part of my brain.
EDIT: 5 seconds after posting this, my brother comes into the room singing "Party party party, fun fun fun" in a robot voice. Gah. The last time I was this sure a video was a joke, it was "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls.... that didn't turn out so well.

You need only to watch YTV to see who is being groomed for pop stardom. My boys are big fans of iCarly - expect to hear a lot about Miranda Cosgrove soon.

Pop music isn't a genre that I find myself listening to very often, but to those that say that it's all just manufactured garbage I think you have to take a step back and take note that this is manufactured garbage. The industry does create pop stars, but they do start with a talented individual. As fun as it is to rip on Bieber, he's skilled vocally. This is something entirely different.
There's going too far and there's this. On the upside, there's no way this goes any further than total comedy. This flame will die out quickly.
She can't really sing, that's why there's some autotuning going on, but sadly, all you need is come up with a catchy beat and you can throw in any non-sensical lyrics and bam, you got yourself somewhat of a hit.
I'm gonna come up with a catchy beat, then write lyrics like...

When I see a thread like this, I read at least a page of comments before i decide to watch the video. Thank-you CP community for being my guinea pig. I feel smarter already for not watching the subject matter.
You're song "Friday" is inspirational. Period.
It includes all the makings of a hit: 1) it's educational (teaches the days of the week), 2) it incorporates real life issues that everyone struggles with (which seat to take), 3) it's fun (even repeats the word "fun").
