You have to be very, very good at poker to beat 1/2 online. Anyone that can do that can destroy 1/2 live.

very good is a subjective term. Most poker players are lazy and undisciplined, even the 1/2 regs.

Theoretically. It's really a different game. The other thing you have to remember is that you see so few hands live compared to online. Many internet players really lack patience. If you 3-table online you see, what, 150-200/hr? Live, you see 20-25, since most dealers suck.

Yea, you ask to play 1/2 and youre either given a table to go play at or put on a waiting list (Theyll call your name when theres a seat for you)
Then you go to a person sitting in a "booth" area and give them $100, $200, etc and they give you the chips. After your done (If you still have chips) go back to the "booth" area give them your chips and you get money back.
