I was busy a while ago and kind of stopped searching for new tunes, so it's a good thing this thread popped up.
I'll add my two cents.
-Get the James Blunt disc. It's awesome.
-I never really listened to Death Cab For Cutie, for some reason I thought they were a punk group or something. So I decided to check out their website and listen to their songs. Boy was I missing out. They are a great band.
-There's a british group called "Faithless". I think many of you would like their music. I can't even pin down what kind of music they play, it's kind of this mellow, electronic and dance style. Seriously, for those who haven't heard of them, I'll name some songs for you to download that I like and I'd like you guys to tell me what you think.
Faithless:
- Muhammad Ali
- Salva Mea
- Bring My Family Back
- God Is a DJ
- Insomnia (Remix)
- I Want More (Parts 1 and 2)
And lastly, get a song called "The Grace" by Neverending White Lights. It's a CD produced by a Canadian producer that has vocalists from like 15 different well known bands in it, but this song in particular is wicked.
Whoever has the time and isn't lazy, give my suggestions a try and let me know what you think. Maybe you'll know some bands that fit my taste that I haven't heard of.
