I am not asking for sympathy. Notice I didn't generalize and say its all Flames fans who act his way. All I am saying is that if you want to insult me for wearing a Canucks jersey, say it to my face. Don't flip the bird from a passing vehicle like a coward simply because you hate the team somebody cheers for.

I would be embarrassed if anyone I knew flipped you the bird just because of the team you cheer for. Its way classier to engage in dialogue and deliver the insult.

Maybe he wasn't being a coward. Maybe he figured that the time taken to give you the finger was all that you deserved, tough guy.

What did you expect?

Frankly, i'd be disappointed if I was in Vancouver in my flames jersey and didn't get some sort of comment.

At least we don't curb stomp opposing fans here.

Judging by the fact you came here to cry about it, you like the attention, and is exactly why you wore the jersey in Calgary.

Yeah and as a Canucks fan, I say there's no reason (other than almost causing an accident) to flip anyone the bird.

I expect what I got in Edmonton. Oilers fans teased me but didn't make rude gestures.

I've been fingered and heckled while leaving Rexall and walking around downtown Edmonton. Clearly I should go run over to oilfans.ca and whine.

Could've been worse, ask the Oilers fan from a couple years who decided to beak off downtown.

And, welcome to Calgary. I've been to Edmonton and Vancouver wearing Flames attire, and you hear everything from behind and are "accidently" bumped and pushed from behind and otherwise accosted on the street and in the arena. Whining because someone gives you the finger from a car is pretty weak to complain about.

I wish I had a beat up Pontiac Grand Am.
I'd drive to Vancouver with my Flames flags wearing my Flames jersey and flip the bird to all the Nuck fans.
