Just saw the highlights of Milos match. What the hell are they playing in. Looks like some sort of concentration camp.

looks like they've pushed the Canada-Mexico doubles match back to noon MT.
It will be shown on Sportsnet West, East and Ontario.

After a tough first set, Canada is playing well. To tell you the truth, Pospisil is crisper than Raonic today (so far).

Pospisil's service games make me really nervous.
Canada doing just enough, up 2 sets to 1 now

Good composure from the Canadians today. Tough first set, but they improved as the match went on.

World Group Results
Serbia, Sweden, Argentina and Spain have advanced.
Czech Rep. (4) 2-2 Kazakhstan
Incredibly Berdych lost the 4th rubber for the Czech Rep and they're heading for a 5th
Croatia (8) 2-2 Germany
Cilic won to bring Croatia level but now Karlovic has dropped the 1st 2 sets to Petzschner
Chile 1-2 United States (6)
Capdeville and Roddick are a set each in the 4th rubber
Austria 1-2 France (2)
Melzer down 2 sets to 1 to Simon trying to bring Austria back. The match has already gone nearly 4 hours. France missing their 3 top players but comfortably ahead in the Battle at the Airport.

Karlovic is too interested it getting the fastest serve again, rather than actually concentrating on the match. Damn frustrating, especially when Dodig should have been the guy playing today. Grr.

Yup. Germany has advanced over Croatia. Karlovic has no game at all. There's no excuse for a serve that big to lose 2 tiebreakers in a match at home. Dogic definitely would have been the better choice but the Croatian captain wanted Karlovic on this fast court.
Roddick up 2 sets to 1, should wrap that up soon.
Melzer has fought back and is now up a break in the 5th, Simon has totally collapsed.

It's just such an awful decision, considering that Dodig won the Zagreb title earlier this year.
This proves there's a far drop in Croatian talent on the tour right now. Cilic, then Ljubicic who is proving to be an ageless wonder, Dodig...then no one for awhile. They really missed Ivan this weekend. It showed.
I'm real peeved right now.

And Simon has surrendered. Dropped the 5th set 6-0! Dropped 11 of the last 14 games.
Austria 2-2 France
Koubek and Chardy scheduled next. Not sure if either side will switch it up.

yeah I'd be peeved too.. it all started going downhill yesterday, no excuse to lose the doubles up 2 sets to 1. Karlovic lost all 3 matches. Don't think he'll ever be selected again.
-----------
Kazakhstan has taken the first set against Czech Rep. in the final rubber.

Roddick has won, USA advances.
Austria has decided to go with Martin Fischer to go up against Jeremy Chardy. I'll be watching this one... Austria attempting an amazing comeback after going down 0-2 Friday.

Yup in the States! Where would you play? The fastest court possible?

Anything but clay, don't want Verdasco to get the edge just joking...
Yup, I'd say the fastest court. That would work well for Isner and Roddick. It would give them an advantage.

There's a small rumor going around that USA vs. Spain would be played in the AlamoDome in San Antonio on a special GRASS court.

I'd play indoor on carpet. Most grass surfaces now, especially in the UK are not nearly as quick as they used to be. If they did play on grass, I'd hope that they would make it as fast as possible and have a really low skidding bounce. Like Wimbledon in the 80s.
