I saw your tweets about it. After the WP7 experience I don't see how it could be any worse.

Despite the "closed system" that people seem to complain about, Apple has the app system down to a science. It is easy to work with them.

It's still not working for me. The timer is going twice the speed and I cannot see the territory grid and cannot attack anyone. I am using the Iphone App.

I have the 3GS. It is not jailbroken and I have the latestest IOS. This isn't the first time this has happened. Usually it will start working properly after a day but it has been longer than that now.

I've had similar incidents of the fast timer (I was able to gain troops with it though, so I didn't mind too much

) I have also had incidents of the attack grid not visible and not able to attack. I've had occasional issues like that all the way back to either the original release or the first update of OTW. It didn't matter if it was iOS 3, iOS4, jailbroken, not jailbroken. Usually just restarting the app solved the problems, on rare occasions a reboot of the phone was required. Out of all the "bugs" I would say that the fast timer issue is the most common one. Even then, it only happens once in a blue moon.

Yes. Pretty much what roast beef said. But I can't get it back to normal now.

We submitted a patch this morning. We couldn't recreate the problem so hopefully it corrects the issue.

Have you ever tried uninstalling the app, rebooting and then reinstalling? I have had other iOS apps malfunction to the point where that was the only thing that solved the issues.

I tried your suggestion about turning the phone off and then back on. It worked. So I guess when this happens again I will just turn it off and then back on.

what i don't understand is how someone can launch many kamikaze attacks against you, taking quite some time, but their information says that they haven't been in that square for weeks. all of the squares around that square also show that the person hasn't been in that area for weeks; how could they take minutes to attack you or even get to the square to attack you if they haven't been there for weeks?

I know...

It is an error on the WP7 phone that we found out about yesterday. A fix was submitted so those Windows using players won't be able to do that.

Can you explain that for me? Were people actually able to attack when they were not in the square? I noticed that a certain purple player was doing that to me and I just figured somehow they went into the square and out before they could get a troop, but were they in fact not there?
