Was Arch Rivals the basketball game where you could punch? If so - that game was awesome!

I don't think I saw Centipede on that list!

Karate Champ! I spent so much money on this game. At the Safeway where I used to live, my mom would go shopping and I would play Karate Champ. I was a black belt on the sticks.

Other than that, I pretty much agree with list.

T2: the arcade game

Wrestlemania

Other than that, really glad some of my favorites from the 90s made it: x-men, the simpsons, and TMNT

Yes definitely Karate Champ and Kung-fu Master. I also loved Moon Patrol, not sure if that's been mentioned? Centipede?

Haha, my weakness in that game was that all I wanted to do was give dudes piledrivers. It worked well until you started to face the better guys. I had forgotten all about that game.

And that continues to this day...

That game was awesome. I remember when you'd get to the hard matches it was so hopeless. You'd just get up slower, and slower and slower.

This thread got me thinking about a game that used to be in Wizards Castle, that for the life of me I can't remember the name of. It's really obscure so I don't have high hopes of finding out what it was, but here is my sketchy description.

It was a space game that was in quasi-3D, kinda like Marble Madness. You ran around with this Ray gun zapping aliens and robots and collecting crystals to power up your blaster. You frequently went up escalators. Hmm, what else? It was multiplayer co-op. Ring any bells? I'll bet the 50's greaser guy who worked at WC would know...

The best move in the game only worked with Coco Savage.

If you flung him into the ropes and tried to hit him with a cross body block, he would try to do the same sending you both over the top rope to the floor below.

The Pile Driver was impossible to use once you got by Savage.

Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters?

As soon as you mentioned quasi-3D and escalators, this was the first thing I thought of.

Even though the game was rare and not well known, it had a very unique style. I still remember drooling over screenshots of the game in an early issue of EGM in the late 80's.

Any other old timers remember this one:

Not a great game by any means, but one of the first arcade games I remember playing.

LOVE this thread.

I have just listed 2 multicade cabinets in the Buy/Sell forum. They include 13 of the 50 games in gamespy list.

I spent a ton of money on Super Off Road my freshman year in college. Great game.

Noticably missing for me is Gyruss. My favorite shooter of all time.
