So the big question is... if all this stuff releases on March 11/25, then why is the online store down?

I'm hoping for a nice little "One more thing..." iMac update announcement.

It's always down during these events.

They'll have pre-orders up I'm sure.

Damn I hate iTunes, but that is a nice piece of hardware.

iMac update for the "one more thing" seems lame.

I want iOS 5 preview!

Direct Vimeo uploads? That's pretty big for them.

You get the sense that Jobs is truly, genuinely blown away at what people within his company are coming up with.

So...essentially the iPad 2 everyone was expecting? I guess that's enough reason for some people to upgrade.

He's also got a vacuum he's really excited with that he'd like to sell you.

The only thing that really pisses my off is that apple only gives Personal Hotspot to iPhone4.

So I'm going to have to jailbreak my perfectly usable iPhone3GS to get WifiHotspot from Cydia. Low blow from apple. If they force me to Jailbreak, then I'll stop paying for apps too.

You had me up until this part. What did the app developers do to force you to decide to steal their apps?

I think it's more of an F U to Apple and the app developers are collateral damage.

I know, I know. You're right. I haven't stolen apps until this point and I won't now - but Apple is playing a dangerous game. For every person like me you doesn't steal apps there are 10x more who will. That was more my point.

Want.

Do unlimited data plans exist anymore? If I want to stream video over a mobile network, will I blow through 5GB?
