I would like to think that most well made war movies aren't as ham-fisted with their message as Crash was. Just my opinion.

Fair enough. Crash wasn't exactly subtle with its message.

I was just poking some fun at your first post. I don't expect everyone to like the same movies.

The worst movie I saw in 2010 was Clash of the Titans

No, Sandra Bullock's character fell down the stairs because she was wearing socks on the hardwood. The clear message I got was SOCKS ARE BAD!!

Yeah, and then after they yelled cut, the director started talking about the oscar, and Sandra replied, whatever you do, whatever happens, please win one for the slipper.

There are three trends emerging from this thread.

1. People are posting movies that are actually really bad, as determined by critics etc.

2. People are posting movies that they think are bad.

3. People are posting that movies that where actually good, are bad, to get a rise out of other posters.

That's silly, people here would never do that.

Anyways back on topic.

#### Crash! Seriously. My choice for worst movie ever, simply because it never should have been anywhere near Best Picture. Waaaaay worse than Manos: the hands of fate.

Crash was made for people completely ignorant of race-related issues in America. In terms of evaluating racism, it provided no insights deeper than you would find on the Chappelle show. Hell, 'Good hair' is about a million times more insightful than Crash, and that's a Chris Rock documentary where he tries to put pin black 'hair poverty' on the white devil, despite virtually all the evidence he gathers pointing to asians.

I look at people differently if they tell me crash was a great movie.

No, Crash is the movie equivalent of "Racism for Dummies". Terrible movie.

Love and Other Drugs. Can't believe I forgot about that one. Possibly worst movie of the year.

Maybe not the worst movie but definitely the worst I've ever watched (and I've only watched half).

You do realize that it's possible for someone to watch Crash and not have their minds changed about racism. The movie wasn't eye opening for me. It didn't cover any new ground for me. I liked the different storylines and how they were all connected, and all connected by the same thing. I thought it was pretty interesting writing. Haggis did a great job.

I didn't walk out of the theatre with a new outlook on life. I didn't walk out thinking, "man, I need to change the way I live." That's not what the movie was there for. I can't imagine many people took it with more than just a grain of salt.

Hey I liked it, the Academy liked it when they gave it Best Picture. PLenty of critics liked it, and you didn't. No one is right or wrong.

Grown Ups was pretty bad. Not to mention the bizarre and offensive shot at Canadians.

Apparently we all sound like gay chipmunks.
