Borat was genius. There are many levels to the movie, and it succeeds on them all. Actually, the fact that some people think it is utter garbage (while others enjoyed it) is yet another level of success for that movie.

Ah yes the Wing Commander movie. It ended up being a submarine movie in space, and not a very good one at that.

When you make a Wing Commander movie and Mark Hamill refuses to be in it, that should be your first indication that you've got problems.

It was too bad because Chris Roberts through the video game series built this amazing war, made you give a crap about the characters, made a credible enemy with a ton of character behind it, then basically pooped all over it, added the whole Pilgram crap that made no sense at all and shaved the Kilrathi.
Plus Mathew Lillard was too damn goofy to play Chris "Maverick" Blair.
Plus they took a great rivalry and a great character in Maniac Marshall and made him a side kick.
That movie utterly pisses me off to this day.

Borat was brilliant but Bruno failed horribly except for the ending.
The whole point of Sasha Baron Cohen characters is that he is only half the attraction.
The other half is seeing all the crazy #### he can make other people do and say just because they think he's a crazy Kazakhstanian or a freaky gay Austrian.
Borat was great at this. Put people in compromising positions and see how they react.
Bruno was 90minutes of staged garbage. It was all about the character. Bruno is at his best when he can get people to talk about Jesus' fashion sense, how much Hitler and Stalin were fashion trend setters etc. Not some jagoff waving his dick in front of the camera.

I seriously can't believe nobody thought of this yet. Unless I'm the only person who can't purge its awfulness and dreck from my memory. There have been some good suggestions in this thread, but to follow up Spider-Man 2 (imo one of the greatest super hero movies ever made) with this pile of crap....BAAAAHHHH!!!!

That movie actually ruined the rest of the Spiderman franchise for me. Even the first 2 suck now because that one ruined them for me. I also hate Tobey Mcguire with a passion now too. Always hated Dunst.
Very well could be the worst movie I've ever seen. Especially if you consider budget and gross.

I'm not saying it's the worst of all time, but it's the only movie I've walked out of in theaters: Dumb and Dumberer

You dirty basterd. I almost forgot that this movie existed. I was doing pretty well in suppressing that memory.
This movie may not be the single worst film of all time, but its certainly in the conversation.

x2 for Cronenburg's "Crash" Such a great cast.... such a bad movie. I remember all the hype about it and then quickly about how many people were walking out of it half way through... They had good reason.
The Road to Wellville... Never will I ever get that time back.

Put me in the camp that didn't mind Spiderman, hated Spiderman 2, but was freaking disgusted by Spiderman 3.
But then again, I'm not a spiderman guy, so that comes as no surprise.
I feel weird wacthing Tobey McGuire "act". I just don't believe anything he does. He ruined a perfectly good movie in Brothers with his portrayal. His blow up scene at the end of that movie might be one of the worst acted scenes I have seen in a long time.

The Crash? Doubtful, I've never heard of it.
Or Crash? Meh. Kind of a twisted movie. I don't like Spader or Hunter. And the premise was stupid.
Or Crash? Great movie. Good choice for Best Picture that year. (HM to Walk the Line, Syriana) I've never heard of hoards of people walking out of it. It made a lot of money and was critically acclaimed.

I thought Spiderman was crappy. I hate origin stories.
If they had just made Spiderman 2 as a one-off, no backstory or anything then it would have been even more awesome. Spiderman 2 kicks the living hell out of Spiderman. I'm pretty sure one of the Japanese live action Sailor Moon musicals would have been more badass than Spiderman 3.

Do you do that with war movies too?
I guess Deer Hunter, Platoon, Apocalypse Now, Saving Private Ryan, The Thin Red Line, Casualties of War can all be skipped because WAR IS BAD.
Shawshank Redemption? Don't need to see it. PRISON IS BAD.
Clockwork Orange, Brazil, Blade Runner. Don't need to see those. FUTURE IS BAD.
Godfather, Goodfellas etc don't need those. MAFIA IS BAD.
I could go on...
