Kimmel's sense of humor and style probably appeals more to celebs who want to appear, for lack of a better word, hip. Bits like the recurring Matt Damon beef, all the ######ing songs and the one that prompted this thread are edgier than anything you'll ever see on Leno. Kimmel, Fallon, Conan... those are the guys that do this kind of stuff and get regular buy-in from celebrities.
I watched this yesterday and kept wondering if they did in fact have ALL of those celebrities together for it. You never get one shot showing them all, just groups of them at a time. I guess you could easily film it with groups and edit it all together in the end.
