The Bruins team are pretty much garbage on the whole. Weak defense and even weaker goalies.

I think he'll need a year in the AHL to get stronger and a bit quicker. But honestly, from what I've seen, the sky is the limit for him.

I don't really follow the WHL but with there only being around 10 games left I could see him going to the heat in a couple weeks when the Bruins season ends (Looking at the standing they have a decent shot to catch PG with those games in hand, didn't think they were that close).

Don't think that is possible, you have to be 20 to play in the AHL IIRC.

sort of... CHL players under the age of 20 can not play in the AHL unless their CHL team's season is finished... its like how Wahl and Bouma joined the Heat at the end of last season

That is my understanding as well. Of course it all depends what he and his Bruins can do in the next couple weeks.

Chilliwack's last regular season game is March 19th.
Howse could join the Heat for their final 11 games of the season.

How many goals and points is Howse on pace to finish with in the WHL?

I'm not sure. I seem to recall he had a good +/- last year. It may be a little bit of both. The team around him certainly hasn't been all that good.

He's always on the ice and apart from himself, Sundher and Manning their team isn't that great. They give up so many shots and every game I've been to they've allowed 4+ goals.

There is a replay of last night's Chilliwack/Lethbridge game on the Shaw channel right now. Lethbridge doing a good job of shutting down Howse and the Bruins thus far in the game.

I wouldn't get too far ahead of yourselves, this guy didn't even make team Canada. Sure it's great that we have a prospect putting up numbers in junior but that doesn't mean anything.

Who's getting ahead of themselves?
Also making the Canadian World Junior team does not decide a players future potential.

Here are some guys who MADE the World Junior team recently, and who's careers haven't amounted to squat:
Justin Pogge (2006)
Ryan O'Marra (2006)
Dan Bertram (2006)
Sasha Pokulok (2006)
Shawn Belle (2004, 2005)
Stephen Dixon (2005)
Danny Syvret (2005)
Jeff Glass (2005)
Tim Brent (2004)
Alexandre Rouleau (2003)
Mark Popovich (2002)
Oliver Michaud (2002)
Garth Murray (2002)
Maxim Ouellett (2001)
Jason Jaspers (2001)
World Junior success != NHL careers
