Also, Tendulkar broke the World Cup record for most hundreds with his 5th WC century. He's also only 56 runs away from scoring 2000 total runs in the WC. His batting average is a healthy 58.90 in WC matches.

I really doubt anyone will ever come close to his records in the one day format.

Canada-Zimbabwe is underway and what a start!

Zimbabwe win the toss and choose to bat.

Canada gets a wicket - LBW on the first ball!

Zimbabwe starting to control the game again.

44-2 after 10 overs.

Canada needs a wicket soon.

both teams wearing red makes this a little confusing.

This is really getting away from Canada, need some wickets.

After a promising start it's turned into a slaughter.

Canada don't look like getting a wicket. Zimbabwe heading for around 350.

1 run from the openers yet again. As great of a servant as John Davison has been to Canadian cricket, if he's the best opener in the country now, there are big, big problems.

Canada with an embarrassing defeat to Zimbabwe. Bowling, batting everything went wrong. None of the minnows really have a chance at quarters.

Aus, SL, Pak, NZ should comfortably make it from group A.

Pollard smacks a 60 of 27 balls to propel West Indies to 330. Neth are just bout done. Group will be a battle between West Indies and Bangla for the final quarter final spot.

Yes

and why they're being kicked out of the next World Cup. Only 10 teams in that one.

^I think it's a good idea personally. Canada isn't learning too much from this. I think the approach of taking 20/20 to the level of soccer world cup is correct.

Anyways... Bang vs WI is the next game to look forward for..... I am hoping Bang can win it but it will be a really hard one for them.

Any thoughts on SL vs Aus? I picked SL in my pool!

Ireland are chasing down England's 327. They are just going for it! nothing to lose.

"Ireland require another 136 runs with 5 wickets and 17.0 overs remaining"

Very doable.

Incredible! Ireland took the batting powerplay in the 31st over and got 57 runs out of it without losing a wicket.

This Kevin O'Brien guy has 93 runs off 45 deliveries and Strauss just dropped him!

"Ireland require another 80 runs with 5 wickets and 12.0 overs remaining"

O'Brien gets his century off 50 balls! A new World Cup record for fastest century.

England are just being battered now.

"Ireland require another 56 runs with 5 wickets and 54 balls remaining"
