As for Gervais, I can't imagine they would want him hosting the Oscars. I don't think too many "stars" appreciated his comments at the Golden Globes. I suppose he was rough by award show commentary standards, which is usually just fluff and overly complimentary towards everyone, but I thought it was great. I would love to see him hosting the Oscars. It would have to be better than what this has been so far.

I think they will try their darndest to get Billy Crystal back next year...

I think he's beyond tired. He's got so much stuff going on in his life, acting, directing, going to school, hosting the oscars... He needs a nap.
Or high, whatever.
He's still hot.

That dude is a total workaholic.
I had a professor in university who was the same way, and when he was 40 he looked 60.

Are you guys actually watching the oscars instead of the Flames game?

I'm watching both. Got the game on my computer and the Oscars on tv in the background.

I am, yes.
Hockey brings me very little joy lately.
Plus, James Franco in a tux. Can't pass that up.

Holy smokes, me and Anne Hathaway would be perfect for each other. Both whiter than white itself.

2010 sure was a weak year for movies. Very little stands out in my mind from the entire year. Wish they would just give Inception the Oscar, as movies like Social Network, and King's Speech have been done to death over the years.
If there were stronger contenders like in past years SN, and KS wouldn't even be in the running imo.
