If they made a game that was the entire Tamriel it would be extremely enormous. Daggerfall the game was twice the size of Great Britain for god sake. It would take weeks to get across the entire map in real time.
I actually never finished Oblivion until the other day, i picked it up and spent a good 20 hours on it finishing the game. I forgot how fun and cool it is. I actually just created a mage high elf character to try and replay the whole game. So far its really fun.
Bethesda let us know last week that if we wanted to give birth to a child on the day The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is released then February 18th would be an ideal time to conceive. Readers of the Bethesda Blog had a nice laugh over the original post but it turns out Bethesda wasn't simply pointing out a fun fact, but setting us up for a real life quest. The Quest: Have a baby on November 11, 2011 and name him or her "Dovahkin." Your reward: Free Bethesda games for life.

This game is going to be awesome. Oblivion was an excellent game, and this has a brand new engine, new graphics, etc.
Going to be epic.
I bought Oblivion three times I think and all three times I tried my best to get into the game but just end up trading it in. I don't know why I didn't like it when everyone else seemed to think it was the greatest game ever. I hope this game, along with the revamped third person camera, won't suffer the same fate as Oblivion did for me.

Silly, Oblivion is supposed to be played in first person
Yep. I realized I'm not a fan of those "do whatever you want" type of games. I need a bit of "go here and do this". Oddly enough, I was able to complete Fallout 3 though I didn't like it as much as most.
I think I may not like this next game but I'd really like to try it now that they've made 3rd person a lot better (according to the previews). It's also cool to see dragons randomly attack you and your enemies!
